Today, while Ningxia people are more closely connected with the world, Ningxia apples are also traveling to the ocean, all the way to South America. Reporters learned from relevant departments on the 6th that, with the agreement of the governments of China, Mexico and Peru, fruits from nine regions including Ningxia can be exported to these two countries, which is the first time that Ningxia Apple landed in South America.

It is understood that the planting area of Ningxia apple base reaches 18,000 hectares, the main varieties are Golden Crown, Marshal Huang, Guoguang, Ningguan, Red Fuji, Qinguan and so on, with an annual output of 788,000 tons. In order to better export Ningxia apples to South America, the autonomous region government and other relevant departments formed a leading group to promote Ningxia apple exports to Mexico and Peru, to assist enterprises and farmers to do a good job in the inspection and quarantine work.
